Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using ScopeGuard, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

ScopeGuard reads mailboxes you explicitly connect, applies filters and AI classification, and presents a prioritized inbox. You can generate and send replies from within the product.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You must only connect mailboxes that you are authorized to access.

4. Acceptable use

You will not use ScopeGuard to send spam, harass, deceive, infringe intellectual property, violate applicable law, or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. AI output

Classifications, summaries, and drafted replies are generated by machine-learning models and can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing content before acting on it or sending it from your mailbox.

6. Data processing

We process your data as described in the Privacy Policy. For customers subject to GDPR, that policy — together with our subprocessor list — forms our data processing terms.

7. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change, or remove features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect you.

8. Termination

You may stop using ScopeGuard and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, are used unlawfully, or create material risk to the service.

9. Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim (or USD 100, if greater). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the account owner resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
